Our program features bilingual learning, books, creative/art projects, and indoor and outdoor play, all in a collaborative, tight-knit group environment, with an organized daily schedule.

Our philosophy

At Thumbs up Bilingual Early Learning, we believe children thrive best in an environment where they feel safe, cared for, and encouraged to be curious. We focus not only on academics and physical development but also social, emotional and spiritual growth. Children learn by play through a variety of daily activities that help build cognitive, social and motor skills:

Playing toys helps children develop their motor skills and problem-solving abilities, as well as learning how to respectfully work together and collaborate with one another

We provide a variety of washable paints and other materials for painting, handicrafts and other art activities to cultivate children's hands-on ability and foster their creativity and imagination.

Books and storytelling improve children's cognition and develop good reading habits that will benefit them throughout their lives.

Reciting Chinese poems and teaching nursery rhymes and dances help enhance children's artistic appreciation. Music is beneficial to physical and mental development

Outdoor play gives children room to move and interact with friends, while enhancing muscle development and promoting children's gross motor skills.

Mandarin & English

Children are immersed in a Mandarin-speaking environment and naturally learn the Chinese language through poetry, books, storytelling, music, dance, nursery rhymes, conversation, and everyday activities. English is incorporated alongside Mandarin and taught through books, storytelling, songs, and art activities to support bilingual development and help children from diverse backgrounds feel comfortable and communicate their needs.
